My Story
Hi, I’m Reza Razm, a cybersecurity enthusiast with a lifelong love for technology. Even as a kid, I was always at the computer, diving into every setting I could find—even if I didn’t always know what they did! The sound of the dial-up modem connecting was my signal to start exploring the internet, at least until my mom would shout, “Reza, get off the internet! I need the phone!”
I loved that sound, but my first real “hack” was figuring out how to silence it so I could stay online without getting caught. Those early days of curiosity and problem-solving paved the way for my career in cybersecurity—turning my passion into a mission to protect digital worlds.
My curiosity didn’t always go over well, especially when I figured out how to hack the local ISP’s timer. Picture a 10-year-old, with more curiosity than common sense, discovering a way to stretch a one-hour internet session into days. I’d quietly bypass the timer, blissfully lost in the online world, while my mom wondered why the internet card lasted way longer than usual. Looking back, that’s when my journey into cybersecurity really kicked off—finding creative ways to stay connected to the things that fascinated me most. Who knew that a kid’s determination to stay online would turn into a career in protecting others from doing exactly the same?
Before diving into the world of cybersecurity, I spent time as a surgical assistant. That experience taught me the importance of precision, quick thinking, and being able to handle high-pressure situations—skills that have translated well into my current role. Despite changing career paths, I’ve always been driven by the desire to help and protect, whether it’s assisting in a hospital operating room or safeguarding digital landscapes from cyber threats.
Outside of tech, I’m someone who loves staying active. I have a national swimming medal and captain of my water polo team. The discipline, teamwork, and leadership I’ve developed in sports have been invaluable both in my personal growth and professional life. Traveling is another passion of mine—there’s nothing like exploring new places, meeting new people, and experiencing different cultures to broaden your perspective.
Whether it’s fixing a broken computer for a friend, diving into the latest gadgets, or leading my team in a tough water polo match, I’m all about embracing challenges and finding joy in the things I love. Technology is my passion, but people are my purpose. Let’s connect and see how I can bring my energy and expertise to your projects.

Innovating IT Solutions at the NHS
Streamlining Operations in a Leading Healthcare Environment
Working at the NHS has been incredibly rewarding, allowing me to blend my healthcare background with my passion for cybersecurity. As a Theatre Support Worker, I saw the potential to improve our IT processes and took the initiative to develop a system that transformed repetitive tasks into simple, efficient barcode scans—what I call the “Beep Beep” solution. This innovation has saved valuable time, reduced human error, and enhanced efficiency during surgeries, making a real difference in patient care.
Balancing my role at the NHS with earning a First Class Honours degree in Cyber Security has only fueled my commitment to innovation. I’m proud to contribute to such a respected organization and to make a meaningful impact on healthcare operations.
